It's DIY Friday! What is it? DIY Friday is all about celebrating DIY Blog Design! Every week I feature a super cute blog design that has been designed by one of you, and I award that person a “DIY Cute Blog Award” that can be displayed their blog. How do I get Featured? Simple! Go to the “Show it Off” page on the left, and submit your blog. Any Rules? Yes, Rule #1: You have to design your blog on your own. You can use freebies or any other elements in your design (free blog backgrounds, etc.). Rule #2: No Proffesional Designers please (it needs to be an even playing field). Rule #3: Have fun with it!!  It’s that time again!  DIY Friday!  This week I have chosen Taylor from Taylor Made for the DIY Cute Blog Award!  She did an amazing job with her blog.  The first thing that I want to point out about her blog is the color.  I absolutely love how the color progresses, not only in her header, but her sidebar, as you go down, the different title background colors subtly change. One more thing that I wanted to point out about her blog…. seriously check out her crafts and kids sections.  Holy Cow she has the greatest tutorials/ideas.  I am currently working on the felt food, and Play Kitchen for my daughter for Christmas!

Okay…. so even though only 8 people submitted blogs this week, I had the HARDEST time picking just one person to feature!

DIY Friday and an ANNOUNCEMENT!

Hey Everyone!! I was gone on Vacation for a week, got back on Sunday, and I am still picking up the pieces from being gone! I will announce the winner of the Super Cute Blog Award, but I won’t be opening a new contest until next week. ……also…… I am not taking on any new Custom Blog Design orders for a little bit, but that is GOOD news for you, because I will be devoting LOTS of attention to my blog, which means TONS of great tutorials coming, and I will be opening a new shop, and a few extra surprises await too!!!! I couldn’t be more excited, so just give me another week or so to finish up what I already have on my plate, then I will be back up and running at 150%!!!!! Yay!
