How to Make a Facebook Fan Page for your Blog/Website

If you don’t already have a Facebook fan page for you blog, GET ONE!  What is a Facebook Fan Page? Check out mine! Why? It is one of the most effective ways to get your more readers, and to get returning readers.  In this simple tutorial, I will show you how to get set up :)

Step 1: Sign in to your Facebook account, or sign up for one if you don’t have one.  If you are signing up for a Facebook account for the first time, set it up as YOU, do not set it up as your blog name, that defeats the purpose of having a fan page.

Step 2: Go to this page:  http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php and click on the category that your blog best fits under.  I selected Brands & Products with the Sub-Category of Website.  You can change this later, so it is not necessary that you stress getting it just right.

That’s It!  So Easy!  Now just look around and play with it :)  It is pretty self-explanatory from there.
